Introduction

An MBA degree is a huge commitment and an expensive endeavour. The MBA Essentials online short course serves to prepare participants for this journey with a head start in some of the more challenging areas covered in an MBA. Whilst it does not provide a full insight into what an MBA would entail (each being different), it allows participants to measure their desire and commitment - whilst simultaneously gaining critical management skills.

The MBA Essentials online short course covers three vital components of business management that are often found to be the most challenging subjects of an MBA: Economics, Quantitative Methods, and Managerial Accounting.

Using a practical approach in which you can apply your own business as a case study, you’ll learn to navigate the complexities of your business environment, whilst gaining a solid foundation with which to tackle a full MBA, should you be accepted.

The MBA Essentials will prepare participants with essential business skills relevant to the current business climate, to advance their career or business and prepare them for further studies. Participants will master the key concepts of the three key MBA courses, which are Economics, Managerial Accounting and Managerial Statistics.

Who is this course for?

The course is targeted at business owners, managers, and entrepreneurs who wish to gain technical business skills to meet corporate goals and advance their careers, as well as those wanting to upskill and gain foundational preparation for their future postgraduate or MBA studies.
