This masterclass is designed to help women realise their leadership goals by arming them with the right strategies to overcome inherent challenges faced by women in the workplace. It will differentiate between gender issues and organisational issues in your context through working with a group of women leaders experiencing similar challenges. We will establish where we, as women, need to change and what needs to change in organisational practices and culture for women to advance.
This masterclass is aimed is aimed at senior management, general management, departmental management, executives on the C-suite level, and professional women who find themselves transitioning into management roles.
Participants will explore gender-based leadership in Africa, with a focus on the impact of broader gender issues faced by women leaders on the continent. They will further explore internalising personal leader identity and apply it to analyse their own effectiveness in the work context. Participants will also gain access to insights from four leading generations in the workplace who will share powerful experiences of communication and networking for female leaders. Lastly, the masterclass will explore leading with courage as strategic leaders, with a focus on the ability to overcome risks, facing fears, and achieving goals against all odds associated with being women.
