This programme is designed to equip middle managers, primarily those with specialist backgrounds, with essential tools and skills to enhance their effectiveness as people managers. It begins with an in-depth exploration of the skills leaders need in today’s evolving work environment, offering clear guidance on leadership techniques and the new competencies required to stay relevant. Recognising that leaders are often responsible for HR functions in which they may lack formal training - such as recruitment, retention, succession planning, performance management, and engagement - this programme focuses on building human capital skills to strengthen their team management capabilities. Participants will also advance their coaching abilities through a masterclass, using their own case studies to gain practical insights for leading more effectively.
The programme is aimed at individuals working as specialists, who would like to enhance/develop their people management skills.
The programme aims to equip line managers with people management practices towards greater effectiveness as leaders and managers of people.
